Field Trips

The Mousetrap Puppet Theater offers Field Trips to the Davis Mercantile!

A full field trip can include all of  the following:

· Mousetrap Puppet Theater

· JoJo’s Pretzel

· Simple Sounds

· Shipshewana Carousel

What each program offers:

►JoJo’s – Students make and eat their own hot pretzel. Learn about pretzel history and what goes into making one today.

►Simple Sounds – Program on folk music and instruments, including dulcimer, guitar, percussion and more. Everyone gets to take home a small instrument.

►Mousetrap Puppet Theater – See a marionette puppet show, followed by demonstration on how the puppets work and how they were made. Includes time for questions. (Bring cameras for a group shot of students with the puppets.)

►Carousel Ride – Take a ride on the restored 1906 Carousel.

Field Trips available Mon. - Fri. during the school year.

Allow up to 2 1/2 hours for all four programs.
